Ed McGee

A New Hampshire native, Ed McGee was a longtime singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist for nine years with the Ohio-based jam band ekoostik hookah whose national touring act shared the stage with the likes of Willie Nelson, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Weir, and Bruce Hornsby. In 2018, he released his first solo project album entitled “Alexander III and Other Stories” featuring performances by hookah’s Steve Sweney, Ward Scott of The Shantee, Pat Kenney of One Under, and other badass musician friends. After relocating to Sharon, Vermont a few years ago, Ed recorded his second solo album, “The Life In Their Bones”, an acoustic collection of older, unrecorded favorites from his catalog. Ed McGee continues to write and perform music in New England, and still travels regularly to the Midwest for performances, solo acoustic as well as full band.
